Graphic Design
A Graphic Design degree for people who want to graduate with a portfolio, not just notes. You learn by designing visual identity, editorial, packaging, motion graphics and digital design, with real briefs from the very first year. Official degree validated by SIUCAN, with the option to continue with a Top-Up at LMU.
A Graphic Design degree focused on building your portfolio from year one
The Degree in Graphic Design at CESINE isn’t learnt only in class: you learn it by signing off projects. From first year you receive real briefs in visual identity, editorial design, packaging, advertising art direction, motion graphics and digital design. When you reach fourth year, you don’t just hand in a final project: you deliver a professional portfolio you’ll use in your first job interview. And you build it with a faculty whose work is signed off every day at real studios and agencies.

Graphic Design studies connected to the market
Graphic Design studies at CESINE are designed so that you graduate with two things: an official degree and a portfolio of real projects that hold up around a client’s table. We work with the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), Figma, Cinema 4D and motion tools. And we work with real cases: brands, publishers, products, campaigns.
This qualification is officially equivalent to a University Degree
Awarded by the Government of Cantabria’s Regional Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Tourism and validated by SIUCAN, this qualification gives you access to job openings at public institutions and private companies, as well as to official master’s and doctoral programmes. It carries 240 ECTS credits recognised in the European Higher Education Area, making academic and professional mobility across Europe easier.

Work placements at agencies, studios and media outlets
Curricular and extracurricular. Every placement comes with individual tutoring. Some of our partners for Graphic Design profiles:
At CESINE we understand that studying for a degree is an investment. That’s why we support you with that part too: motivation scholarships, financing through partner institutions and tailored payment plans. The admissions team reviews your case individually.
No. Any Bachillerato pathway or a related Higher Vocational Training qualification (FP de Grado Superior) gives you access. What matters is visual motivation and a project-driven attitude. Admissions reviews each profile individually.
The full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), Figma, Cinema 4D and motion tools. We work with the same versions used in studios and agencies.
Yes. The portfolio isn’t something you work on at the end of the degree: you build it from year one. Every real brief you deliver is one more piece. By the time you reach fourth year, you have a selection of real projects ready to present to studios and agencies.
Yes. Demand for graphic design profiles keeps growing in branding, digital communication, advertising art direction, motion, packaging and UX/UI design. What’s changing today isn’t demand: it’s the expectation that you graduate with a portfolio and a specialisation. That’s why our degree is project-focused from year one.
Yes. After completing the degree you can take an additional Top-Up year with London Metropolitan University and earn a British Bachelor’s Degree recognised across Europe.
No. A university-level Degree in Graphic Design (240 ECTS, 4 years) and a Higher Vocational Training qualification (FP de Grado Superior) in Graphic Design (2 years) are not the same. The degree gives access to official master’s and doctoral programmes, is recognised in the European Higher Education Area and opens doors to international mobility. FP is a shorter, more technical programme. At CESINE we teach the university-level degree.

Complement your studies with a Top-Up or a master’s degree. These university programmes are designed for students who have already completed higher education equivalent to the first two years of a degree.
