International Business Management
A business management degree focused on international business. You learn to lead organisations, manage multicultural teams and make financial decisions through a practical programme designed with executives from real companies. Official degree leading to a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours awarded by London Metropolitan University.
A business management degree with an international outlook and a hands-on approach
The International Business Management Degree at CESINE isn’t theory built on last-century case studies. It’s a business management degree in which, from first year, you analyse the real situation of an organisation in your area, develop its improvement plan and defend it at the Banco Santander Work Café. Four years to understand how a company works from the inside: finance, marketing, human resources, international trade, consulting and entrepreneurship. And you do it in small groups, with lecturers who review your business plan on Friday and are putting plans into action at their own companies on Monday.

Studying business management at CESINE: what sets this degree apart
Studying International Business at CESINE means taking the whole degree with an international layer that very few schools in Spain offer: you collaborate with Cantabrian institutions on sustainability projects and European funding applications, take on a real hackathon and, in fourth year, create your own sustainable startup. The international dimension isn’t a module: it’s the backbone of the degree from day one. You graduate with the tools to work at any type of company, start your own business or advise other organisations on their development.
This qualification is officially equivalent to a University Degree
Degrees from CESINE’s School of Business and Communication are awarded by London Metropolitan University and validated by SIUCAN. They carry the same academic recognition as Spanish national university degrees and give you access to public-sector job openings under Royal Decree 889/2022, as well as to official master’s and doctoral programmes in the European Higher Education Area. You can apply to the Spanish Ministry of Education for equivalence with an official Spanish university degree.

How you learn at CESINE
Real projects from year one
Every year is built around a core project with a client or a real case. You don’t learn just by listening: you learn by delivering, defending your work and getting feedback from professionals.
Lecturers who work and teach
Our faculty are working executives, consultants and entrepreneurs. They bring into the classroom the projects they’re signing this week. What you learn here, you’ll have applied before the year is out.
Supported professional placements
Curricular placements in Year 3 and extracurricular placements whenever you want. The Business Relations Department supports you throughout the search and provides tutoring. 900 partner companies and at least 10 new openings every week on Jobteaser.
Small groups, individual attention
A maximum of 20 students per class. Lecturers know your name and projects are reviewed one by one. Overcrowded classrooms are the opposite of what a future executive in training needs.
Company placements: from theory to the market
Curricular work placements are part of the Year 3 curriculum. You can also do extracurricular placements at any time to gain experience and strengthen your CV. Business students complete an average of 600 placement hours by the time they graduate. Some of our regular partners: BBVA, Banco Santander, NTT Data, ING, Cobee, Grupo IPC.
Step out of your comfort zone, find your way in new environments, speak multiple languages and immerse yourself in different cultures. Within the programme set up through the EDH group network and our long-standing partners, you’ll enjoy classes with the same level of excellence and focus at no additional cost.
The International Business Management Degree at CESINE opens doors abroad. Through mobility programmes and the EDH network, you can complete part of your studies at international partner universities. Agreements with more than 60 universities in 25 countries, Erasmus+ and around 50 CESINE students abroad every year.
