A costa que fala
With this collection we set out to capture the restrained energy of the sea on a calm day; the serenity of the lacemakers, their acceptance and their constant perfectionism; their craft, born from the everyday reality of their people.
The delicacy and precision with which their hands interlace the threads, in a tender, continuous movement, evoke the waves that reach the shore gently and harmoniously on a bright, sunny day.
It is designed to be worn on special occasions that celebrate the unique relationship between the sea, the coast and those who live there. Among them is the feast of the Virgen del Carmen and its true protagonists: shellfish gatherers, fishermen and sailors, who give thanks, honour their patron saint and remember those whose lives were taken in their constant battle with the sea.
