CESINE celebrates its 30th Graduation at the Palacio de Festivales
134 graduates, more than 20 nationalities and three decades of graduating classes
Thirty graduating classes is quite a milestone. On Thursday 4 June, at 7:00 pm, Santander’s Palacio de Festivales will host CESINE’s 30th Graduation, an academic and social ceremony that will bring together more than 500 guests, including families, friends, faculty, staff and institutional guests.
134 graduates from three areas
This graduating class is made up of 134 students from the areas of Business, Communication and Design:
- 41 from the School of Design and Creation
- 49 from the School of Business and Communication
- 44 from international programmes
They are graduates of bachelor’s degrees, Top-Up programmes and master’s degrees.
A classroom that crosses borders
Half of the Spanish students come from Cantabria. The rest come from Galicia, Asturias, the Basque Country, Castile and León, Navarre, La Rioja, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Madrid and Aragon.
They are joined by international students representing more than 20 nationalities: Italy, Canada, France, Belgium, Argentina, South Korea, China, Mozambique, Germany and the Netherlands, among others. It is the profile that has defined CESINE for years, and this graduating class confirms it once again.
Authorities and guests
The ceremony will be attended by Gema Igual, Mayor of Santander, and Sergio Silva, Regional Minister of Education. Also attending will be Juanjo Siguero, the new director of Groupe EDH in Spain; Mesfin Habtom, representative of London Metropolitan University; and Víctor Hurtado, Academic Director of CESINE.
The godfather of this 30th edition will be Víctor Diego, former Racing player, who will accompany the students on one of the most important days of their academic journey.
